Romanian black metal force Funeral Baptism proudly presents the first glimpse, "In Solitudine", into its long-awaited sophomore full-length of the same title, due later this year via Loud Rage Music.
Dark, introspective, and steeped in philosophical undertones, "In Solitudine" showcases a matured sound and lyrical vision, signalling a bold new chapter in the band's evolution.
The band comments: "The title track 'In Solitudine' (In Solitude) best represents the manner in which the band stylistically approached its second album. Inspired by Thus Spoke Zarathustra, the lyrics paint the image of an alternate reality where man refused to be crushed by ontological torment, instead choosing to destroy the ego, rise from the ashes and retake control of his existence".
More details about the album release, including artwork, tracklist, and pre-orders, will follow soon. Link
