Croatian black metal entity Trivan have issued another track, "Crowned With Dread And Power", taken from their forthcoming full‑length Eternal Shore.

Founded in Zagreb in 2018 by guitarist/composer/lyricist Vanja Šantak and bassist Ivan Bertović, together with a mutual school friend on drums, Trivan's early momentum was halted by the COVID‑19 pandemic — a period that ultimately reshaped the project's direction, identity and long‑term purpose. As the band evolved, vocalist Tomislav Žiljak — formerly of the black metal outfit Darkendome — joined the line‑up. When the original drummer stepped away, former Darkendome drummer Robert Vlašić entered the fold, bringing renewed stability, force and cohesion. Rhythm guitarist Marin Buljan joined in 2025, adding structural depth, weight and a more imposing guitar foundation.

Trivan is built upon a continuous artistic philosophy of descent, confrontation, self‑examination and transformation. Darkness is not treated as an end in itself, but as a realm where illusion dissolves and personal truth is confronted.

The name and concept describe a journey from superficiality to depth, from emptiness to meaning, from illusion to confrontation, and from despair toward inner victory. Trivanism — the project's philosophical framework — is presented as an artistic and introspective system rather than a religion or cult. Its core themes include introspection, personal truth, questioning authority, rejection of blind obedience, transformation, nature, equality, consent and respect.
