A year and a half after their previous release, Belgian post‑punk/cold‑wave outfit The Ultimate Dreamers make a striking return with “Forced To Live”, the first single taken from their forthcoming album Lost Oneironaut, due in March 2027.

Serving as a dramatic and atmospheric re‑entry, “Forced To Live” plays with the familiar contours of melancholic post‑punk while opening the door to new sonic territory. Plaintive, almost aching guitars carve out a sense of emotional erosion, while a steady, unyielding beat evokes the rhythm of a forced march through a colourless, monotonous existence.
