Thief have unveiled their new video single, "Violent Bloom", the opening track and final advance offering from the US electronic visionaries' forthcoming fifth full-length, Sermons From The Pit, due for release on 27 November through Prophecy Productions.
Mastermind Dylan Neal comments on the new track: "This track represents the first stratum of the pit. Its voice is that of a prophet and its technique is fire. Heed the introduction's warning that the listener is about to encounter a rabid priest preaching a sermon of acerbity and religious disgust. This is the terminus of trying to find a truth that is unknowable and older than the gods combined".
