Chicago‑based darkwave/dark techno/industrial outfit Sleep Of Mirrors are pleased to announce the release of their debut album, Crown, out now via Negative Gain Productions.
Sleep Of Mirrors is a dark electronic project operating at the intersection of darkwave, electro, and dark techno. Built around dense synthesiser work and a vocal‑driven atmosphere, the project blends ritualistic repetition with cinematic structure, creating immersive soundscapes shaped by tension, restraint, and mood.
Their debut album, Crown, is a ten‑track work that unfolds as a cohesive whole rather than a collection of standalone pieces. Drawing on occult symbolism, religious imagery, and themes of power, devotion, and transformation, the record balances hypnotic rhythm with widescreen composition — equal parts ceremonial and visceral.
Created by people who care deeply about dark music and the craft behind it, Sleep Of Mirrors follow a simple guiding principle: "The only rule is that the music feels real". Link
