Melodic doom metal band Red Moon Architect has announced its sixth studio album, October Decay, coming on 17 April through Noble Demon. With "First Of October", Red Moon Architect has presented the first single and video from its soon-to-be-released album.
"'First Of October' unfolds with crushing weight and sorrowful grace. Each note resonates with the gravity of loss, while haunting melodies drift like echoes from a forgotten past. This is doom metal at its most beautiful - devastatingly heavy yet achingly melancholic, pulling the listener deeper into its hypnotic abyss", the band comments.
Hailing from Kouvola, Finland, Red Moon Architect has consistently delivered critically acclaimed albums, solidifying its presence within the doom metal scene. The band was originally the drummer Saku Moilanen's solo project but evolved through various lineup changes, culminating in its current formation featuring Ville Rutanen on vocals. Link
