Los Angeles-based Julian Shah-Tayler, aka The Singularity, has unveiled a new track, "F8ed", accompanied by an official video. The song is taken from his forthcoming album, midnight ballet, due out in spring 2027.

"'F8ed' - romance as it seems written in the stars, but in the end, it is a realisation that without self-reflection, it's only a repetition of the same patterns and behaviours around dark matters", says Shah-Tayler. "This song was written with Halloween and our shows in mind. We are playing darkwave and goth clubs, so I wrote it for all the vampires in the room and the beautiful midnightballerinas who hide in shadow corners in their invisible cloaks of mystery."

Born and raised in Leeds, Julian Shah-Tayler is a singer, songwriter and producer whose sound fuses electro-rock and new wave into what is billed as "intellipop", delivered with a distinctly Bowie-tinged flair. Alongside his own recording career, Shah-Tayler produces other artists and fronts both The Band That Fell To Earth, his David Bowie tribute project, and Strangelove, his acclaimed Depeche Mode tribute act. His work has also reached the screen, with credits on the films Plush, Riot on Redchurch Street and Disney's Maleficent. Link
