German dark-electro provocateur Extize has unveiled the new single, "Zero Gravity", accompanied by a striking official video. The track is the latest preview of the band's forthcoming album, I Love An Alien, scheduled for release on 2 April 2027 via darkTunes Music Group.
Described as perhaps the most personal and conceptually ambitious work in the band's career, I Love An Alien explores the full arc of a relationship, from the search for meaningful connection and the exhilaration of falling in love to the inevitable challenges that test emotional bonds and the realisation that love can transform rather than fade.
Serving as the emotional centrepiece of the album's narrative, "Zero Gravity" captures that rare moment when two people become completely immersed in one another's presence. It is a song about harmony, trust and emotional surrender, where doubts dissolve, the outside world disappears, and the connection between two souls feels limitless. In this state, time slows, reality blurs, and every moment seems suspended beyond ordinary experience.
Musically, the track fuses Extize's trademark blend of melodic industrial and dark electro with sweeping darkwave atmospheres, resulting in a cinematic and emotionally charged composition. Driving beats and pulsating electronic textures are balanced by an ethereal sense of uplift, creating a song that feels simultaneously powerful, intimate and strangely serene. More than a celebration of passion, "Zero Gravity" embodies a sense of emotional transcendence, representing the highest point of the relationship portrayed throughout I Love An Alien.
The accompanying video was directed and filmed by Jaded Jewall and can be viewed below. Meanwhile, those who may have missed Extize's previous single, "Hot As Fuck", can still check it out via the link provided HERE.
