With "A Choir Of Fallen Angels", released today, Danish collective Empire Drowns unveils another glimpse into its forthcoming album, Endless Nights, due on 31 October through Mighty Music.
Equal parts crushing and melancholic, the track blends mournful melodies, massive riffs, and spectral atmospheres into a cathartic journey that honours the legacy of Paradise Lost and My Dying Bride while carving its own desolate path.
Mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (Moonspell, The Haunted, Baest), this new single encapsulates the duality at the heart of Empire Drowns: bleak yet strangely beautiful, melodic yet uncompromisingly heavy.
