Visionary multi‑instrumentalist and singer‑songwriter Dikajee has announced a brand new full‑length album, The Frame, scheduled for release on 6 November. To mark the occasion, she unveils the striking new single “Gunpowder”, accompanied by a cinematic music video featuring Varijashree Venugopal (Snarky Puppy) and Jonathan Noyce (Archive, Jethro Tull).
Mastermind Olga Karpova reflects on the concept behind the piece: “The ‘Gunpowder’ video is a story of overcoming the limits of the mind and body. The Blind will see, the Child will light the fires, and the Ghost will have a face again. This is the life of a human.”
Over the past years, Dikajee has captivated audiences across continents, sharing stages with acclaimed artists from the progressive, folk, and metal spheres. Her performances — intimate yet expansive — have earned her a devoted following and a reputation for crafting deeply emotive, genre‑defying soundscapes.
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Dikajee now prepares to deliver her second full‑length album, The Frame. The record brings together an impressive international cast of guest musicians, including Jonathan Noyce (Archive, Jethro Tull), Varijashree Venugopal (Snarky Puppy), German Vergara (Aisles), Guillaume Bernard (KLONE), Christian Ayala (Avandra), Vikram Shankar (Pain Of Salvation, Charlotte Wessels, Within Temptation, Lux Terminus), and many more. Their contributions weave into Dikajee’s distinctive sonic world, expanding its emotional and atmospheric reach.
With The Frame, Dikajee steps into a new chapter — one shaped by collaboration, artistic courage, and a vision that continues to grow beyond borders. Link
