Iranian industrial/post‑punk duo Amin & Tara have unveiled “Anxiety”, the first single from their upcoming debut album Dear Chaos, due in early November. Sung entirely in Persian, the track transforms a mental state into a physical landscape built from industrial rhythms, post‑punk basslines and tense electronic textures.
“Anxiety” captures the sensation of being trapped inside an accelerating mind — falling, distorting, racing, unable to escape. The lyrics turn this internal turmoil into a collapsing structure, a runaway roller coaster, a body with no exit. It is frightening, suffocating and overwhelming, yet disturbingly familiar; a place one can hate and still recognise as home.
“We wanted the video to make that feeling physical — the body trapped inside a space while the mind keeps accelerating,” explain Amin & Tara.
The single offers the first glimpse into Dear Chaos, an album that treats chaos not as an abstract idea but as a constant presence. Each track approaches it from a different emotional angle: resistance, confrontation, acceptance, adaptation. Rather than attempting to defeat chaos, the record follows the process of learning to coexist with something that has become inseparable from everyday life.
Amin & Tara is a Tehran‑based project formed in 2024 by longtime collaborators Tara and Amin, who merged their solo work after years in separate bands. Their music is instinct‑driven and genre‑fluid, moving between industrial, alternative rock and electronic sound design, rooted in raw personal experience and emotional intensity.
Working with co‑producer Nima Ramezan, they release under their own names to preserve honesty at the core of the project. Beyond music, Amin & Tara operate as a multidisciplinary platform spanning visual art, fashion, performance and design — building not just songs, but an entire world around their work.
