German darkwave act EFF has presented the first track, "Gedankendelikt", from their forthcoming debut full-length, Zero, due on 8 December.
Out of the stillness of personal reflection—where loss and longing settle like shadows upon memory—emerges Zero, the debut album by EFF, a darkwave project from Germany that has been steadily shaping its own voice between melancholy and motion since 2023.
Following nine striking singles that hinted at earlier chapters, Zero marks a moment of retrospection—and transition. Written from July 2024 onward and mixed and mastered by Torben Utecht in December, the album collects songs that speak from inner fractures: danceable, but never weightless.
Between cold synth flickers, pulsing rhythms, and lyrical introspection, EFF traces the fragments of a self finding clarity in vulnerability. Personal, sorrowful, detached—yet undeniably alive. Link
