Swedish gothic rock veterans Scheitan have unveiled their latest single, "In The Dead Of Night", offering another glimpse into their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled album, currently slated for release in spring 2027.
Penned by Scheitan mastermind Pierre Törnkvist, "In The Dead Of Night" embodies the band's signature fusion of gothic rock and darkwave. Driven by an infectious rhythm, a commanding chorus, and an atmospheric production crafted by acclaimed producer and sound engineer Daniel Bergstrand, the track delivers a dark yet energetic sound destined to resonate with fans and find its place on goth club dance floors.
The new single follows "A Million Days", released earlier this year, which continued Scheitan's exploration of haunting melodies and introspective themes. The song delved into endurance, inner conflict, and the burden of lingering "dead desires", further showcasing the band's ability to balance emotional depth with memorable songwriting. While "A Million Days" laid the groundwork for the next chapter in Scheitan's evolution, "In The Dead Of Night" raises the intensity, combining shadowy atmospheres with an irresistible pulse. Watch the brand-new lyric video below and step deeper into the darkened world of Scheitan. Link
