Dutch alternative metal/dark rock project Ann My Guard has released its fifth studio album, She Of The Sea And Stars, along with the "Dark Sea Blue" video.
With this album, Anna would like to reveal how her metal songs were originally written: The record contains already-known songs in a different sound and new tracks influenced by her wide-ranging musical tastes, including darkwave, gothic rock, and dark pop. The result is a mesmerizing collection of 10 tracks that blend ancient myths with modern sounds. She Of The Sea And Stars is a bewitching spell, a musical voyage transcending time. Each track invites you to dive deeper into the mystical and the modern, presenting Ann My Guard's evolution from the boundaries of metal music into something quite experimental and new.
She Of The Sea And Stars features guest musicians like Ivar de Graaf (Kingfisher Sky, ex-Within Temptation), Nick Holleman (Powerized, Trance, ex-Vicious Rumors) and Elianne Anemaat (Charlotte Wessels, Celestian Season, MaYaN). Link
