Austria's post-punk/gothic rock outfit Whispers In The Shadow has presented the first track, "From The Mouth Of Babes", from its impending 12th studio album, Rapture, set for release on 13 June by Icy Cold Records on Digi-CD, vinyl and digitally.
Rapture is a haunting journey through the intertwined forces of religion, love, death, and spiritual reckoning. The album explores the fragile balance between belief and doubt with emotional depth.
Whispers In The Shadow's mastermind, Ashley Dayour, about the album: "I don't use the word proud lightly, but with this album, I'm certainly proud of what we achieved. It really is one of our best albums to date. You might think, of course, he has to say that, but if you know me just a little bit you are aware I mean it. We could have called it Whispers In The Shadow, because that's what it is. The true essence of this band. Almost 30 years of work combined".
"Cover art by BillyPhobia to whom we are forever grateful for this piece of art he created. Thanks for your ongoing support, everyone! It means a lot! Without it, we could not have kept it all going for 29 years now. Take care and thanks for your time!" - Whispers In The Shadow Link
