Embers Of Dawn have offered "The Only Gods (Remix)", a newly reimagined version of their 2023 track. The heavy industrial quartet will release their forthcoming full‑length, Infernal Culture, set to be issued on 18 September 2026.
Guitarist Cliff Ross reflects: "The song frames 'gods' not as divine beings, but as corrupt constructs — machines of power, ideology, and control. It argues that the figures and systems we worship — governments, machines, corporations, war structures, even technology — are not gods at all, but false idols that bleed us dry, divide us, and lead us nowhere".
The sonic architecture is elevated with enhanced electronics and sharpened industrial elements. Additional abrasive textures intensify the track's impact, amplifying its mechanical, dystopian edge. Lyrically, the composition situates destructive systems of power and harmful technologies as false idols — structures that perpetuate division, erosion, and harm.
