San‑Francisco darkwave/industrial force Bestial Mouths has released the official video for “HISS”, the latest preview of the band’s forthcoming full‑length album Dead Lines (Líneas Muertes), set for release on 4 September via Negative Gain Productions.

Frontwoman and creative architect Lynette Cerezo describes “HISS” as a confrontation with the cultural machinery that breeds division, despair, and performative identity. “When hatred becomes dispersed through a culture until it’s difficult to distinguish personal anguish from the machinery producing it, identity becomes performative, divided into subsets and factions,” she explains. “‘Progress is fragile,’ and it can also be poisonous. This poison is cyclical: with the seeds we plant, we reap another generation of toxicity.”

Dead Lines (Líneas Muertes) marks Bestial Mouths’ first full‑length album since 2023’s R.O.T.T. (inmyskin). Comprising eight emotionally heavy, politically charged, high‑energy anthems, the record stands as a communal march away from the systems that exploit fear and weaponise apathy. It is a call to reject nihilism and reclaim agency in a world engineered to erase the vulnerable.

The album was written by Lynette Cerezo in collaboration with Brant Showers (∆AIMON / SØLVE), with mixing handled by Alex DeGroot, known for his work with Zola Jesus. The result is Bestial Mouths at their most polished, accessible, and devastating — a fusion of ritualistic electronics, tense emotional vocals, and cathartic industrial rhythms.

For anyone who has felt the desperate urge to burn down the structures that suffocate, Dead Lines offers both fury and release. It reinforces Bestial Mouths’ reputation for crafting powerful, empowering sonic manifestos, anchored by the message: “We don’t have to live like this.” Link
