Germany's black metal torchbearers, Mystic Circle, have unleashed the first video single, "Boogeyman", from their upcoming studio album, Hexenbrand 1486, due in autumn 2025 via ROAR.

"We are fascinated by this story about the boogeyman", Beelzebub states. "Evil lurks hidden and watches you until it strikes unexpectedly and pulls you into the darkness. What could be more natural than to summon the boogeyman and unleash him into the world of Mystic Circle?"

One month ago, the band released its Kriegsgötter MMXXV compilation album, featuring eight tracks and furious cover versions of Bathory, Celtic Frost, Possessed, Acheron's classics, alongside a completely re-recorded cover version of Iron Maiden's "Afraid To Shoot Strangers" featuring Sarah Jezebel Deva on guest vocals (more info is HERE).
