Modern Mimes, the dynamic trio from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has unveiled a captivating new single/video, "Bridge to Clarity" - the latest offering from its anticipated fourth studio album, Under The Claws Of Death, showcases the band's signature blend of gothic metal and alternative rock.
Modern Mimes consists of Arianie Elcida Hernandez on vocals, Ernesto Paez handling guitar, bass, synth, and vocals, and new member Harley Mitchell on drums. The band first burst onto the scene in 2016 and quickly made a name for itself. With a history of impressive performances and a growing fan base, Modern Mimes is poised to reach new heights with its latest work.
"Bridge To Clarity" delves into themes of introspection and the challenging journey towards self-awareness and liberation from past burdens. According to guitarist Ernesto Paez, the song is about "introspection and surrender, as well as the fear associated with achieving inner freedom when you realize you have to say goodbye to its toxic comfort".
Modern Mimes has previously captured the attention of both fans and critics alike, with its cover of Type O Negative's "I Don't Wanna Be Me" receiving accolades from the band itself. Its ability to blend various musical influences from bands like Portishead, Nine Inch Nails, and Lacuna Coil gives Modern Mimes a unique sound that resonates with a diverse audience.
Fans of Modern Mimes can catch it live as the trio continues to tour across the United States and perform at major music festivals. Link
