Gothic pop witch Metamorph returns with a brand new single and video, “Witchfire” — a seductive, spell‑charged celebration of pleasure, temptation and unapologetic personal magic. Driven by teasing beats, addictive melodies and instantly memorable hooks, the track radiates wicked charm. From the mischievous “Wow Wow Wow” refrain to the blazing “Witchfire” chorus, the song is all about owning desire and letting the flames rise. Beneath its playful surface, however, burns a deeper current of Pagan energy, empowerment and the freedom to follow one’s own fire.
The official video for “Witchfire”, filmed by Brian Wimer, weaves together two landscapes central to Margot Day’s life and artistic evolution: New York’s East Village — where she lived and created music with The Plague in the ’80s — and the forests of Vermont. The result is a visual spell where urban wildness meets woodland mysticism, firelight flickers through the trees, and ancient magic stirs. The video features Margot alongside her twin flame and bandmate Kurtis Knight.
