Philadelphia‑based progressive black metal outfit IATT have unveiled a new video single, "Walk Amongst”, taken from their forthcoming full‑length Etheric Realms Of The Night, slated for release on 8 May via Black Lion Records.
As the veil begins to tear, "Walk Amongst" emerges as the penultimate chapter of the band's album‑length film — a visceral, cinematic work that fuses extreme metal with narrative storytelling into a single immersive experience.
Marking IATT's fourth full‑length studio album, Etheric Realms Of The Night is conceived as a cohesive film, with each track forming a chapter in a wider narrative exploring the subconscious, dreams, sleep, and the fragile threshold between the waking world and what lies beyond the veil.
"Walk Amongst" represents the moment where all threads converge. Returning to what appears to be ordinary life, our heroine begins to sense that reality is no longer anchored — familiar surroundings feel hollow, disconnected, and subtly wrong. The chapter draws heavily on the concept of astral projection: the act of leaving one's physical body to traverse the dream realm, and the consequences of wandering too far into sleep.
Sonically and visually, "Walk Amongst" carries a sense of inevitability, revealing that the boundary between worlds has already been crossed. As perception fractures and truth surfaces, it becomes clear that the heroine is no longer moving freely between realms, but guided — or controlled — by another force.
Driving the film toward its final act, "Walk Amongst" uses atmosphere, pacing, and cinematic restraint to expose the cost of the journey, pulling the viewer deeper into Etheric Realms Of The Night. Link
