Norwegian black metallers Gjendød have revealed the first track, "En elv av kjøtt", from their forthcoming full-length, Svekkelse, due on 26 September via Osmose Productions.
Svekkelse is the sixth full-length from the Trondheim-based black metal band Gjendød, and its second album as a three-piece. Svekkelse continues where the previous album, Livskramper, left off, but this time, the band has turned it all up a notch. They have never worked with their compositions with such intensity before. The eight songs presented go from epic to deranged, from technical to primitive, and from sheer passiveness to outraged despair. The lyrics are inspired by dark local lore and legends, both self-experienced and learned. It might be the strongest album by Gjendød to date, again draped by the crushing sounds of the infamous NordStern studios. Link

Svekkelse tracklist:
1. Lykkens bortgang
2. Maktens sødme
3. Uten nåde
4. En staur i hjertet
5. En elv av kjøtt
6. Likvekkelsen
7. Med fjell av åte
