Prophecy Fest completes the running order for the by‑now‑traditional Thursday opening ceremony, Prophetic Overture, with the addition of Finland's kantele neofolk group Nest, joining the popular outdoor gathering.
This joyful outdoor meet‑up will commence at 16:00 CEST and will primarily offer acoustic performances over barbecue fire bowls and the always‑popular welcome brew.
Following Nest, this year's Thursday musical billing will feature Neun Welten performing 20 Years of Vergessene Pfade, and a rare solo concert from Spiritual Front frontman Simone Salvatori.
Festival founder Martin Koller remarks: "The Prophetic Overture always offers a nice opportunity to get settled in after collecting your wristbands and pitching your tents. There will be a welcome brew, a barbecue, meetings with old and new friends, and of course great music to enjoy. Looking forward to seeing you there!"
Prophecy Fest 2026 will once again bring dark, forward‑thinking music with attitude to one of the world's most fascinating cultural locations: the legendary natural Balve Cave. The three‑day event will commence on Thursday, 3 September, concluding with a final concert shortly before midnight on Saturday, 5 September. The price for a 3‑day pass remains 149 € (plus 10% service charge).
