The legendary Italian symphonic death metal band Genus Ordinis Dei has delivered an explosive new single, "Eternal Cycle", featuring the breathtaking voice of Xandria's own Ambre Vourvahis.
After the release of its monumental album The Beginning and a series of epic metal videos launched last December, Genus Ordinis Dei is back with "Eternal Cycle", a haunting masterpiece produced by Tommaso Monticelli at Sonitus Studio in Crema, Italy, and released via Eclipse Records.
As a standout track, "Eternal Cycle" dives into the myth of Persephone and Hades, uniting symphonic metal with epic storytelling to explore the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth. With sweeping orchestral grandeur, relentless rhythms, and searing riffs, the song is a tempest of musical intensity. Vourvahis' ethereal vocals blend seamlessly with the growls of Genus Ordinis Dei's frontman, embodying the raw contrast between light and darkness, life and death. The dynamic interplay of symphonic and metal elements breathes life into this timeless myth, capturing its passion and tension like never before.
