Costa Rican atmospheric industrial black metal band Dusk has announced its new EP, Repoka, due on 29 August.
The EP delivers four new tracks rooted in retro-futuristic industrial aesthetics, blending vintage electronic textures with a sharper, cyber-metal edge. Repoka explores a condensed, high-voltage sonic spectrum, clocking in at just 15 minutes. The EP closes with a surprise cover of a well-known 1980s track.
Dusk, formed in 2016 in San Jose, Costa Rica, is known for its incorporation of industrial metal with atmospheric black metal overtones - a mixture of hard bass with dark landscapes, full of relenting, uncaring pounding blast beats and slow, powerful doom patterns, mixed with inhuman growling vocals and modern electronic influences.
