Italian gothic rock/post-punk band Date At Midnight just released their new album, Fading Into This Grace, via French label Manic Depression Records. Their third album features nine tracks that redefine the band's sound, combining post-punk, darkwave, and gothic rock elements.
The guitar sound is enriched with synth textures, while the singing is varied and expressive. The rhythm section intertwines in dynamics, generating a groove full of transitions in both danceable and atmospheric songs. The lyrics explore obsessions, impulses, disillusions, and feelings, addressing unresolved questions in a symbolist and visionary key.
The album is the result of years of creative work and live appearances across Europe and was mastered by legendary William Faith (The Bellwether Syndicate, ex-Wreckage, ex-Mephisto Walz, ex-Christian Death, ex-Faith And The Muse). The entire album is available for streaming. Link
