Dutch symphonic/gothic metal band Blackbriar returns this summer with a new album entitled A Thousand Little Deaths. The album will be released on 22 August via Nuclear Blast Records. To celebrate the launch of the pre-order, the band has also released the new single: "The Fossilized Widow" – a haunting glimpse into what's to come.
After a milestone year in 2024, with the first North American tour, performances at Wacken, Summer Breeze, and a European run supporting Kamelot, Blackbriar is ready to take their signature sound to the next level. Once again produced by Joost van den Broek (ReVamp, After Forever, Ayreon, Star One, Epica, Powerwolf, Blind Guardian,...) and recorded at a location tied to the band's creative roots, this album promises to be deeper, darker, and more immersive than ever.
Whether you've followed Blackbriar for years or are just discovering their world of whimsical darkness, now is the perfect time to dive in. Check out the haunting new video made by Cinebuds below. Link
