French doom goth metallers All We Leave Behind have unveiled all details of their impending album: In Absence Of Light will be released on 28 November via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records on CD and digitally. The band has also shared the second single/lyric video, "Evil Sign".
Following their recent signing with Octopus Rising, the Grenoble-based band continues to carve their path through the darker side of metal. Their new album, In Absence Of Light, delivers a sound where doom-laden heaviness meets gothic atmosphere and melodic depth. With themes rooted in decay, introspection, and the search for meaning, All We Leave Behind presents a body of work that feels immersive, emotional, and deliberate.
Says the band: "This second album continues the exploration of dark and introspective themes, blending heavy, slow riffs with melancholic melodies. The result is an atmosphere that is both powerful and thoughtful, marked by a strong emotional presence. More than a collection of songs, this album is a journey through shadow and darkness in search of light, a reflection of a world in decay. With this release, we affirm our musical evolution, refining our style and deepening our sonic identity".
