Italian synth-pop/darkwave trio TourdeForce has unveiled a new single and accompanying video, "Winning", a reimagining of the song originally written by the acclaimed English post-punk band The Sound in 1981. Released via My Owl Music, the band's interpretation filters the classic track through a darker, contemporary lens, drawing inspiration from the sonic atmosphere of Depeche Mode's Ultra era.
The accompanying video was directed and produced by TourdeForce founder and leader Christian Ryder, further showcasing the band's distinctive artistic vision.
Formed in 2004, TourdeForce has become a recognised name within the darkwave and synth-pop scene. Earlier this year, the Italian trio released its latest full-length album, Leaving Nothing Left Behind, continuing its exploration of melancholic melodies, evocative electronics, and atmospheric songwriting.
