German horror/dark metal duo The Vision Bleak has released its new one-track album, Weird Tales, via Prophecy Productions.
The Vision Bleak's multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Schwadorf comments on behalf of the duo: "The day of the official release of Weird Tales has finally come. This album will always be very special for us and not just due to its one track concept album format, but especially because of the fact that for a very long time we did not know if there would ever be another The Vision Bleak Album after The Unknown. Yes, The Vision Bleak was dead - but dreaming - and burned out. A white piece of paper was all that filled the darkness of our vault. But after seven long years, inspiration finally hit in early 2023. Our love for music, for literature, and for poetry guided us and trust in our artistic instincts led to the album more or less writing itself. It turned out wonderfully and we are very proud of it. We feel confirmed by the early feedback of press and fans that have already heard the album: It was well worth waiting for the fire to be lit again. Yes, we are back and as cliché as that may sound: stronger than ever!"
The Vision Bleak has previously announced a staggering double performance of two full shows each night of the tour, which includes the performance of the complete Weird Tales album and a best-of set for this autumn.
