Following their recent signing with Terminus Hate City, Southern gothic‑infused blackened death metal outfit The Noctambulant have offered the first track, "Skeleton Key", from their forthcoming record Revival, poised to arrive on 18 September.
"Skeleton Key" erupts with a dire, unrelenting savagery, shrouded in a blackened haze. Its foreboding onslaught marches forward with crushing rhythmic weight before breaking into a frenzy of high‑speed intensity. As the darkness deepens, the sense of an inevitable end becomes inescapable.
Floridian force comment on the new single: "This track captures the desire to achieve salvation and transcendence—by any means necessary. It tells the story of using one body to reach immortality in another. The weakness of the flesh must be overcome in the pursuit of something greater".
Recorded at Tri‑Rush Studios, Revival was engineered and produced by E. Helvete and D. Franseth. The album was mixed and mastered by Daniel Thabet at Liquid Studios, with cover art crafted by Dream Creatures. Link
