Speaking about "Inside The Torn Apart", Sunswarm comment: "The darkness of society is forever rendering us apart with symbolic and real acts of violence. But there is a cry in the dark from the individual. I am here. Alive. Inside the torn apart. It's an act of catharsis and rebellion".
Lyrically, the single delves into the contradictions between physical and emotional vulnerability and the cold, harsh industrialised systems operating under the dominance of capitalist machinery.
"Inside The Torn Apart" emerges with a low, pulsing synth. A minimalist verse unfolds into a haunting moment of stillness before erupting into a fierce bombardment of heavily distorted rhythms, metallic textural layers, and monstrous harsh vocals. The brutal industrial weight of the arrangement feels inescapable as the sound becomes entirely enveloping.
Across their work, Sunswarm construct harsh soundscapes utilising metallic textures, intense rhythms, and black‑metal‑inspired vocal performances. The atmosphere they evoke is inherently dystopian and brutalist. Sunswarm do not offer escape; instead, they confront the darkness head‑on, exploring it with full force through their compositions.
