Italian melodic death/doom metal outfit Shores Of Null have premiered the video for "The Numbing Void", coinciding with the release of their fifth full-length, Homesick, available now through Dusktone.

One of the record's heaviest and most doom-drenched tracks, "The Numbing Void" features two special guests: Natalie Koskinen of Shape Of Despair, whose haunting vocals intertwine with Davide Straccione's growls, and Shaun MacGowan of My Dying Bride, whose violin further enhances the song's mournful atmosphere.

Moving at a slower and weightier pace than much of the material found on Homesick, the composition builds its impact through crushing riffs, sombre melodies and an overwhelming sense of emotional exhaustion. The interplay between contrasting vocal textures and melancholic strings adds further depth to the arrangement, reinforcing the track's bleak and introspective character. Released alongside Homesick, the video serves as a fitting visual companion to one of the album's most reflective moments.

Guitarist Gabriele Giaccari commented: "'The Numbing Void' is out now, and this video is a little different from the others. It's made of fragments of our life as a band over the past year: the long days in the studio, the time spent with Shaun MacGowan and Natalie Koskinen, the endless drives through the snow, the incredible places we've been lucky enough to see, the tours, the festivals, the crowds. It's our way of summing up what making Homesick has meant to us, and we wanted to share it with you on the day the album comes out. Because, in the end, none of this would exist without the people who listen, who travel, who show up.
We hope you like it. Thank you, truly".
