Spain's epic/melancholic black metal duo Monhell has revealed a new lyric video for the song "Shadows Of The Abbey". The track is taken from the upcoming album A Last Sigh Of Pain, which will be released on 25 April via Fetzner Death Records.
In "Shadows Of The Abbey" the band unleashes its fury against the Christian religion, kept alive over the centuries thanks to bloody repressions and the spread of fear as a tool to control the faithful.
The project Monhell consists of Monhell (all music and lyrics) and Penumbra (vocals), both of whom are also members of Kult Et Morte and Berserk and have been active in the black metal scene since 1998. Monhell is at the heart of the album's creation, composing all the music and lyrics, recording all instruments, and providing clean vocals. Penumbra complements the sound with his raw, intense vocal delivery, adding depth and fury to the slow, melodic black metal soundscape the album promises. Link
