French cold wave and minimal synth duo Lovataraxx releases "Träumen", the second single from Sophomore, their new album due for release on Cold Transmission Music on 5 April. Träumen means "dreams" in German. This second track of the new full-length Sophomore pleads for the right to be disconnected from time to time, and look simply inward. The lyrics make references to the movie Weisses Rauschen', (White Noise in English), directed by Noah Baumbach, and dealing with schizophrenia.
Lovataraxx comments: "Are we always the same person in public and in private, when we don't need to bear the presence of others? It can be difficult to socialize, and we don't all develop the same skills to face a world of appearances. "Träumen" is an attempt to silence those voices coming from outside. Those voices who want to force us to act against our will. Close the door and embrace the darkness may be enough to enjoy the freedom to be one's self."
