On 3 January 2026, the night of the Wolf Moon, Autumn Ni Dubhghaill, the multi-instrumentalist, voice, creative spirit and dreamer behind the name Forever Autumn, will release her new album, The Lamentations - a collection of songs with the power to lead you into a different reality. The opening track from The Lamentations, "Beltaine", has already been revealed, a song of firelight and shadow, loss and reflection. And now, to mark the winter solstice, Autumn has unveiled the album's concluding piece, a journey through the dying of the year, "The Salt Of Mortality".
Reflecting on the track and its accompanying video, Autumn has commented: "The epic closing track from The Lamentations, 'The Salt Of Mortality' guides us through the dying tymes, here accompanied by original photographs to create a truly immersive Forever Autumn experience".
Mixed by Robby Baier and mastered by Jack Control (Darkthrone, Inculter, Ice War, etc.) and wrapped in artwork painted by Autumn herself, The Lamentations will be released on 3 January 2026... a gift, a blessing and a warning, a path into the new year ahead. Link
