Modern metallers Enemy Inside delivers an early Christmas gift to their fans with their latest single and video, "Don't Call Me An Angel", showcasing the band's relentless energy in a blazing three-minute burst of raw power. The single is taken from the upcoming third album, Venom, which will be released on 28 February 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
This fiery track follows the recent release of their undeniable Halloween anthem, "Fck That Party", which featured Zak Tell of Clawfinger. Enemy Inside's latest hit delivers a powerful message, serving as a poignant reminder of the importance of mental health and self-care. Nastassja Giulia's hauntingly beautiful vocals rise like a seraphic chorus, leaving fans dreaming of eternity - only to snap them out of their celestial reverie with razor-sharp riffs that cut straight to the core, unleashing their inner beast during the bridge.
The band comments: "'Don't Call Me An Angel' dives deep into the shadows of depression, exploring the haunting reality of how darkness can consume not only oneself but also those closest. It's a raw confession - a reminder of the silent battles we carry, the weight that seeps into our relationships, and the unintended pain we spread. This song captures the struggle of feeling trapped in a cycle that pulls others down, even when all we want is to shield them. 'Don't Call Me An Angel' is both a warning and a plea, a powerful portrayal of the emotional depths that lie behind a smile." Link
