UK-based dark electro/synth-pop act Dead Lights released a new single and video "Take" via darkTunes Music Group. "Take" is another bleak observation of the state of humanity, presented as a tasty slice of dark, sexy, modern synth-pop, drenched in that signature Dead Lights sleaziness.
Dead Lights comment: "We are a species of consumers. Not only of physical things, but also of ideas and emotions. While not a negative in and of itself, humans have a seeming inability to stop consuming absolutely everything we come into contact with. Even with our bodies bloated and our bellies full to bursting, both figuratively and metaphorically, we can’t seem to stop devouring anything and everything we possibly can. Will we ever stop?
