Dutch neoclassical/doom/ambient project Aythis is set to release its sixth full-length album entitled Celestial Exile on the 7th of June. Celestial Exile is an ethereal album, finding... its way between neoclassical, doom and ambient. It suggests a transcendent experience, our celestial bodies finding a home in the ether.
Celestial Exile has a mystical ambience that blends nature imagery with introspective reflections, creating an evocative atmosphere that invites listeners to ponder themes of connection, may it be to another world, to the cosmos or to nature's elements.
Celestial Exile comes with a second album called Lost Lighthouse which offers entirely different versions of the songs, with new given lyrics and song titles. Lost Lighthouse aims to be seen as the sombre twin, re-offering the songs of Celestial Exile in a darker, cinematic version. Are you ready for a new offering by Aythis? Stay tuned for more news.
