Seven years after its highly acclaimed debut album, Argentina-based dark rock act Amáutica returns with its sophomore album, Sin Altares, via Aenaos Records, which will also re-release all of Amáutica's previous singles and EP on all digital streaming services and download stores. As a preview of its new work, the band has just unveiled the first track, "Acaso El Viento", featuring Ariel Rossi (The Beauty Of Gemina, Koenix).
The creation of Sin Altares is a testament to the band's relentless quest for songs with a unique quality, a journey led by El Guru and Romina Dusk from their secret bunker where they have been experimenting with dark rock sounds for years. They only emerge occasionally to record a studio album or perform at clandestine gigs in unknown, secluded locations.
"We have respected the nature with which each song has been revealed to us and we have infused them with the distinctive Amáutica sound to allow them to manifest in this world. We recommend listening to the album in its entirety for a full appreciation. Delving into its lyrics is worthwhile, as they represent our unique perspective on ancestral wisdom, magic, and spirituality", the band shared. Link
