UK-based post-punk act The Exceptional Mr Hyde has dropped a new single and video, "Disco a Go-Go".
The song takes a powerful blues bass vibe and pounding drum foundation, weaves vocals, guitars and harmonica around them and draws it all down into the dark underworld inhabited by The Exceptional Mr Hyde.
"Disco a Go-Go" is the sixth single from The Exceptional Mr Hyde, following hot on the heels of last year's debut album, The Inevitable Rise Of The Exceptional Mr Hyde, release.
The band is from Selby, North Yorkshire and has gigged regularly for the last few years, supporting bands such as Klammer, Ghost Dance and many others and featuring twice at the famous Leeds Carpe Noctum Goth and Punk Club. Unfortunately, some health issues mean that the band has been absent from the live scene since January 2024 but is now powering back with a new single and a new guitarist. Link
