Danish doom stalwarts Saturnus will join Finnish masters of melancholy Swallow The Sun as special guests on their Shining over Britain & Ireland tour in December 2025. Just like their Norse ancestors on an Insular journey, they will kick off in the Northern Irish city of Belfast at the Timelight 2 on 12 December. Via Ireland's capital Dublin and Glasgow in Scotland, this road trip will move into Anglo-Saxon lands until the final curtain falls in Nottingham at Rescue Rooms on 20 December.
Saturnus' lead guitarist, Indee Rehal-Sagoo, writes: "We are stoked to be joining Swallow The Sun as special guests this December across the UK & Ireland, with Opia supporting. We shall ride the Storm onto these shores with our doom metal that is born of heavy seas and darker skies. In the heart of the tempest, a lighthouse stands on the horizon; follow its beam to the stage. Expect authentic ceremonies and fresh echoes from us, and be prepared especially for this leg! Stay tuned! See you in the Storm!"
Saturnus will be touring in support of its highly acclaimed latest full-length, The Storm Within, released in June 2023. Link
