Formed in 1987 and now approaching four decades of continuous evolution, Samael remain a defining presence in extreme metal. Landmark albums such as Worship Him (1990) and Passage (1996) reshaped the landscape of black and industrial metal, merging cold electronics, ritualistic pulse, and cosmic darkness into a sound unmistakably their own.
