Following the release of the fierce singles "Rot" and "Mock", British Pretty Addicted continue their bold new chapter with "Hysterical", a powerful new cut featuring acclaimed vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva, whose distinctive symphonic/extreme metal voice adds a compelling new dimension to the act's dark electronic realm.

Speaking about the collaboration, Sarah Jezebel Deva remarked: "There is no one like her and it's I, that should be honoured to be part of that darkness".

"Hysterical" is about the women who walked before us, the women beside us, and the women who will come after us. It is about carrying the strength of our ancestors, celebrating sisterhood, and expelling rage without apology.

Hysteria was once a diagnosis, a label given to loud women, women who defied the status quo and refused to be silenced. Locked away in mental institutions and accused of being "emotional" or "dramatic", Pretty Addicted reclaim the word once used to subjugate and diminish such women, giving it new meaning, new strength, and vowing to let the suffering of those who came before drive them forward.

After seven months in creative hibernation, Pretty Addicted return in 2026 with the next chapter of their new Blackened Rave era. Their self-described "blackened rave" sound fuses rave, metal, drum & bass, industrial and electronic music into something built equally for the dancefloor and the pit. Link
