Mexican aggrotech/electro industrial act Hocico unleashes one of their most ferocious collaborations to date, "Hey Tú!": joining forces with Rafael Reyes of Prayers, the industrial-electro pioneers deliver a blistering, bilingual anthem of betrayal, rage and reclamation. It’s a meeting of two outspoken Mexican voices who’ve built careers on raw honesty and fearless self-expression - and together, they set the world on fire.
"Hey Tú!" is fast-paced, aggressive, and impossible not to move to. Anchored by Hocico’s signature industrial venom and spiked with jagged EBM-infused beats, the track channels a violent energy that’s both physical and emotional. But it’s the fusion of Erk Aicrag’s relentless fury and Rafael Reyes’ snarling defiance that takes the song to another level.
The lyrics are unapologetically confrontational. In English and Spanish, "Hey Tú!" tears into betrayal and false mysticism with venomous clarity. From lines like “You’re a poser, you’re a loser, you’re a fucking fake” to “Soy el infierno que viene por más”, the song leaves no room for ambiguity. This is war poetry for a digital generation, seething with personal truth and unfiltered rage. It calls out hypocrisy, mocks victimhood as a weapon, and reclaims power with every screamed verse.
"Hey Tú!" is a sonic middle finger to impostors, opportunists and spiritual pretenders. It’s Hocico and Prayers at their most visceral, united in rage and rhythm, and undeniably powerful. Link
