With only days to go before the arrival of Forest Of Forgetting, Eye Of Melian unveils one final preview of the forthcoming album. The new single, "Dawn Of Avatars", features Troy Donockley of symphonic metal titans Nightwish on flute and uilleann pipes, alongside hurdy-gurdy virtuoso Patty Gurdy. Both artists lend their distinctive magic to the project, the brainchild of Delain's Martijn Westerholt and fronted by Finnish vocalist Johanna Kurkela (Auri, Tuomas Holopainen).
Johanna Kurkela about "Dawn Of Avatars": "'Dawn Of Avatars' is one of my favorite songs, on an album full of my favorite songs! Enhanced by the enchanting magic of Patty Gurdy and Troy Donockley."
Forest Of Forgetting is released this Friday, 20 February, on Napalm Records. For more on Eye Of Melian and their upcoming full-length offering, follow the links HERE. Link
