Chilean darkwave/post‑punk formation Amöniacö unveil “En algún momento,” a track that moves between nostalgia, emotional intensity and the unsettling realisation that some ghosts of the past return no matter how firmly we believe we’ve left them behind. Written by Carlos Vandal and Felipe Alarcón, the song reflects on memories that resurface with their own quiet insistence — not simply longing for someone, but confronting the remnants that continue to live within us.
Musically, Amöniacö dive into one of the most atmospheric corners of their sound. Immersive guitars, melodic layers and an alternative‑rock foundation infused with strong post‑punk and darkwave elements create a landscape that feels both introspective and propulsive. The track is nostalgic, but never passive — it moves forward, strikes hard and lingers.

“En algún momento” serves as the second preview of the relaunch of Tu Fuego, the band’s debut album originally released in 2011. More than a reissue, the project represents a chance to revisit a cornerstone of their history — a record that never received the attention it deserved. Throughout 2025 and 2026, the band re‑recorded, remixed and remastered the entire album, crafting a new version that will soon be released on vinyl.
The single follows “Aprendo a Morir”, which opened this new chapter and whose original 2006 music video was recently restored. Through this campaign, Amöniacö connect different eras of their story: the songs that shaped their beginnings and the perspective of a band revisiting them with nearly two decades of experience.
Formed in Santiago, Amöniacö have built a sound rooted in alternative rock, post‑punk and darkwave, shaped by themes of melancholy, nostalgia and the search for new emotional languages. Over the years, they have shared the stage with The Cure, Clan Of Xymox, and other influential acts.
