THE CULT - To Perform Entire Electric Album On Upcoming Tour, Dates Announced

The Cult have announced dates for their Electric 13 Tour. On this upcoming tour the band will perform their album Electric, released in 1987, in its entirety for the first time. The shows are managed to include two sets: Electric in one and the second featuring tracks from bands catalog. The voice of The Cult, Ian Astbury explains: "The Cult's life blood has always been playing live, we are between albums and decided to continue the momentum created by Choice Of Weapon, stay in people's hearts and minds, As Love Live was such an incredible experience we have decided that performing the Electric album, an event that has been demanded by our fans and followers as the perfect live set to play in 2013." Electric album marked a style change of the band back then, as they've move from goth influenced sound into more straight hard rock waters. The album included timeless hits as "Wild Flower", "Lil Devil" and "Love Removal Machine". Dates begin on 25th July in San Diego (USA), with a USA tour running into September, The Cult will then perform a series of dates in the UK. Tour dates can be checked over HERE. Link
