PROGENIE TERRESTRE PURA - New EP Out Soon Via Avantgarde Music

Progenie Terrestre Pura, the Italian atmospheric/industrial black metal band promised a new EP for the spring and here it comes. Just like with Asteroidi in 2014, starCross turns out to be something very different from the album it follows. The EP will be released soon, on 11th June via Avantgarde Music.
This hefty EP uses its 30 minutes to tell a precise story, as starCross is an all-round concept release based on a tale written by mastermind Davide Colladon. In order to make the release fully understandable beyond the Italian borders, the band decided to use English for the first time in its career. The music, either, is very different from what could be heard on everything Progenie Terrestre Pura ever released so far. Bands mastermind Davide Colladon comments: “starCross represents a further evolutionary step for Progenie Terrestre Pura, its sound is extremely connected to the story it tells, which is pretty dark. My intention was to recall thrilling sci-fi masterworks such as Ridley Scott’s Alien, Grant Morrison’s Nameless and the Dead Space videogame saga.”
In the beyond-Moon journeys era, in a sector not mapped yet, the scouting ship A.S. Mori follows an unknown signal coming from a distant moon. Embrace fear, madness and despair in the darkest Progenie Terrestre Pura release to date, and prepare yourself for what might be your last trip across the stars.
