LORD MANTIS - Major Line-Up Restructuring, Recording Plans Being Devised

Chicago's blackened doomsters Lord Mantis has declared a major line-up restructuring in recent days, parting ways with several members and inducting even more new blood into the fold, including several additional ex-members of recently dissolved outfit, Indian, and more. With the new line-up, founding Lord Mantis drummer Bill Bumbardner and lead guitarist Andrew Markuszewski (Avichi, ex-Nachtmystium) have joined forces with several new members, including Will Lindsay (Anatomy Of Habit, Abigail Williams, ex-Indian, ex-Nachtmystium, ex-Wolves In The Throne Room) on bass, Dylan O'Toole (ex-Indian) on vocals, and Scott Shellhamer (American Heritage, ex-Mares Of Thrace) on guitars. Additionally, the band will also collaborate with former Lord Mantis member Greg Gomer who will contribute to the band's upcoming new recorded works. Lord Mantis tour plans will be announced at a later time, and the current line-up is preparing to enter the studio in the weeks ahead to record a new EP. Stand by for further updates in the near future. Link
